Rejuvenate & Remember What It Means to “Be Here Now”
Here’s your chance to dip your toes in the MEA teachings without committing to the full-on intensity of our immersive workshops.
Our summer Re·fresh weeks are designed to be a spacious experience that allows you to slow down and breathe as you soak up all the magic our campus has to offer.
You can choose to do as many or few activities as you want while our attentive staff members (who will soon feel like family to you) take care of all your needs.
You don’t have to plan a thing – just let us know what you would like to do and we’ll arrange to make it happen.
Try one of our art or music classes. Join a thought-provoking conversation. Enjoy a restorative yoga session or sound bath. Go for an evening stroll on the beach. Take a surfing lesson. Join an impromptu road trip to our local waterfall. Or spend a few hours lounging by the pool. The choice is up to you!
Replenish Your Mind, Body & Soul
Join Teddi Dean, our Head of Mindfulness and Movement, for gentle restorative mindfulness and movement sessions that will help you reconnect with your body, soothe your frazzled nervous system, and cultivate greater presence in the moment.
Morning Mind & Body Wake-Up
Start your day on our beach platform overlooking the ocean with a 30-minute gentle movement practice to awaken your body, followed by a 30-minute guided meditation that will allow you to drop away from your active mind and slow time as you become more fully present in the moment.
Restorative Sound Bath
Enjoy a beautifully candlelit experience in our yoga studio, where Teddi will blend crystal and Tibetan bowls with music and mindfulness cues to gently guide you back to your body and rebalance your nervous system. You’ll feel as refreshed as if you’ve just had a six-hour nap.
Surf Lessons
Embrace the opportunity of a lifetime and take a surf lesson with one of the best surf schools around. These world-class instructors will walk you through the techniques of how to surf and guide you into your first small wave to experience the “stoke and awe” that only surfing can provide.
Cliff & Tide Pool Hike
This intermediate one-hour hike will allow you to explore the beautiful Baja landscape just down the road from the MEA campus. We’ll hike along scenic bluffs, where you can often see whales along with other sea life, then make our way down to a beach where you can explore tide pools and watch the waves crash upon the rocks.
All of our mindful movement sessions are accessible for beginners and can be adapted for all skill levels. We’re here to meet you where you’re at and give you the guidance and support you need to fall back in love with your body.
Unleash Your Creativity in Art & Music Classes – Learn Something New About Yourself
Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, our guest instructors will help you unlock your creativity through play and inspiration. Let go of "I'm not an artist" or "I'm not good at music" and embrace your inherent creativity!
